John De Margheriti has been actively involved in the computer
games industry for over 25 years. In later 1985, he co-founded
Micro Forté and is the entrepreneur, and visionary
behind the company.
John's vision for the Australian games industry is coming
to fruition with the growth of the Industry, the establishment
of the Academy of Interactive Entertainment's second campus
in Melbourne, the growth of the Game Developers Association
of Australia and the support received by the Australian Game
Developers Conference. |

Francesca has a broad range of business expertise with over 20 years experience in office administration and 7 years experience as a small business proprietor. Francesca was involved with the set-up of AIE and is a valuable contributor to the corporate management of AIE. |

Vicki has over 20 years experience in business administration and has been actively involved in the Digital Content Industry since 1985. Vicki was AIE’s CEO from 2001 to 2006 and continues to manage the operation of IE Events, and Canberra Technology Park.
Vicki is currently a Director and the CEO of Canberra Business Parks Pty Ltd where she is responsible for the overall management of CBP Pty Ltd, the formulation of company policy and overall direction of the business.
Vicki is also a Director of BigWorld Pty Ltd and Micro Forté Pty Ltd.

Stephen is our Financial Controller and is a member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Joining in
January 2001, Stephen came from Ernst and Young where he was
a Senior Manager with the Assurance and Advisory Business division.
His experience includes advice to emerging market players on
accounting and business matters, due diligence procedures, developing
business plans and strategies, litigation accounting services
(expert witness), activity based costing, and piloting major
government reform processes in Canberra. He also worked for
the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for 18 months. |

Ian, a graduate of Aberdeen University, has had a long and successful career in teaching and education management. He has founded adult education programs, established innovative student extension and support programs and managed a number of teaching areas in the public sector He has also sustained a career as player and coach in professional sport in both Scotland and Australia.
Ian is a committed advocate of quality education wherever it is found and has served as board member on a variety of state and national training and industry boards including the Australian Council for Private Education and Training, the Association of Private Training Providers, the Games Developers Association of Australia and a variety of training package, e-learning, international education and skills development groups.
