Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE Ltd) Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Incorporation

(Canberra, Australia): Over 100 local, interstate and VIP guests will join the Academy of Interactive Entertainment Ltd (AIE Ltd) at ‘The Eye - Regatta Point’ this coming Friday to celebrate its’ 10th Anniversary of incorporation. Guests include Mick Gentlemen, MLA; Karin MacDonald, MLA; Senator Gary Humphries; Zed Seselja, Leader of the Opposition Party and Dr. Colin Adrian, CEO of CIT.

A number of awards will be presented including an award on behalf of the Chief Minister in recognition of the highly successful ten year AIE - CIT partnership and a certificate of appreciation from the Game Developers Association of Australia (GDAA) in recognition of AIE’s outstanding contribution to the Australian Games Industry.

Executive Director of AIE Ltd, Vicki De Margheriti commented “We really started this journey a couple of years before our official incorporation. It was an exciting time and we were very passionate about doing something that would give our industry the best chance to flourish. We’ve taken leaps and bounds to achieve great things not only for the AIE, but for the Australian industry as a whole. This is a well earned milestone for our staff and supporters, our achievements are testament to their tenacity and hard work.”
